Thanks to the generosity of Give Good Works supporters and donors, members of South Florida's enormous---and growing---population of needy families and individuals have access to resources that can help them rebuild their lives. Give Good Works is a charitable distribution center. We are very proud of the responsible stewardship of the gifts and donations we receive. What is charity is made freely availalbe to those in need.
Those who wish to support this mission can do so in several ways...
#1) Donate household items; items that are donated will either be sold in our thrift store, with proceeds to benefit the continued operation of Give Good Works, or they will be provided free of charge to Give Good Works clients who are in need. The rule of thumb for donating household items to Give Good Works is that our donors ask themselves: "is this something I would want to give my best friend? Is this something my best friend would want?"
For more information about donating household items or to arrange a pick-up, please call 305.573.2976

#3) Give Money. Cash donations are always welcome, and never, ever used irresponsibly. The vast majority of all funds raised through our thrift, our sale of extraordinary donations, and our monetary donations, goes directly to the continued operation of our charity. Donations can be made via check, or by our convenient, secure, online credit card processing service. Give Good Works is an IRS 501-C3 charitable organization, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Virtue of Giving

We receive by giving. Love, gratitude, friendship-all the spiritual and emotional qualities which make life not only bearable but even enjoyable are enhanced, though not guaranteed, by giving. Selfish persons condemn themselves to loneliness, despair, sometimes even madness. Yet there is one condition to all giving: whatever is given must be given outright, without thought of recompense, requital, gratitude, or even acknowledgement. Giving for the sake of an advantage does not bring spiritual benefits; on the contrary, it will invariably lead to disappointment.
The joy of giving lies in the giving.

From "Worldly Virtues" by Johannes A. Gaertner (pub. 1994, Viking Press, New York

#2) Donate premium items. Give Good Works--Extraordianary Donations
Items that are not immediately necessary to our clients can be sold through our thrift and the proceeds can be used to cover the continuance of the Give Good Works mission---that charity will be freely available to those who need it. In general, donors who give extraordiary items to Give Good Works are able to deduct the full market value of those items from their federal income taxes.
