Virtue of Giving
We receive by giving. Love, gratitude, friendship-all the spiritual and emotional qualities which make life not only bearable but even enjoyable are enhanced, though not guaranteed, by giving. Selfish persons condemn themselves to loneliness, despair, sometimes even madness. Yet there is one condition to all giving: whatever is given must be given outright, without thought of recompense, requital, gratitude, or even acknowledgement. Giving for the sake of an advantage does not bring spiritual benefits; on the contrary, it will invariably lead to disappointment.
The joy of giving lies in the giving.

Where Your Money Goes
Give Good Works is a small, responsible charity. We are very proud of our responsible stewardship of your gifts and donations. Nearly all (86.5%) of the money we raise from donations and thrift sales goes right back to funding our services.
